As you can read at the top of our Web, Paisajismo Urbano is dedicated to "advice, sales and design vertical gardens." These two words, "vertical garden", follow a business approach that allows us to reach more people but in reality, the use of these words is incorrect.
According to the dictionary a garden is defined as "land where plants are grown for ornamental purposes" First mistake: we do not grow on land, we grow on a vertical surface.
Second mistake: ¿Who cultivates and cares, by definition, a vertical garden? In theory, a gardener would have to be vertical, but this concept, obtained from a simple linguistic reasoning, starts to get distorted as they develop. It would be more correct to call vertical gardens to groups based in climbing plants or otherwise to form a vertical array to adorn a particular area.
In our opinion is more correct to speak of vertical ecosystems considering that for optimal results in this type of "garden" is impossible to make a vertical garden, without each parts of the team: botanists, engineers, biologists and technicians. Within these terms to talk about gardening is, at least, wrong.
